WHO AM I?

I’m Zsuzsanna Balázs-Szűcs — but most people call me Zsu, a wedding planner devoted to creating meaningful, beautifully curated celebrations. I have been officially working as a wedding planner since 2017, though my journey in the world of events and weddings began long before that.

For seven years, I worked at a prestigious event venue in Budapest, where I gained invaluable insight into the behind-the-scenes world of weddings and events. It was there that I truly fell in love with this profession.

Over the years, I’ve encountered countless ideas, visions, and dreams, because for every couple, a “perfect wedding” means something entirely different.

And yet, there is one thing every couple shares:

They all want their wedding to be the most beautiful.

And that is exactly where I come in. My goal is to help you create a wedding that is not only beautiful, but truly yours: intimate, unique, thoughtful, and unforgettable.

I believe that the foundation of a truly successful wedding lies in understanding your vision and bringing it to life together. Getting to know you as a couple is essential to me, so that your personality, your story, and your dreams are reflected in every detail. Through continuous communication, thoughtful planning, and seamless execution, I work to ensure that not only your wedding day, but the entire journey leading up to it is calm, enjoyable, and truly special.

A FEW THINGS ABOUT ME

  • I don’t believe in overly polished, sugar-coated communication, but I will absolutely tear up during ceremonies and first dances
  • I studied tourism and hospitality
  • I spent several years working in hospitality in Austrian ski resorts
  • I also speak German (a bit rusty these days, but still there!)
  • I love snowboarding
  • I’m a natural problem-solver, I make things happen, no matter what
  • Since 2013, I’ve been living in a small village in Pest County with my husband and daughter
  • In 2017, after a serious illness, I re-evaluated everything in my life and finally stepped into my dream of becoming a wedding planner
